#4 Kid scripture
4. Read Moroni 10:8–17. There are many spiritual blessings the Lord may give us; He gives us these blessings by the power of the Holy Ghost. You just read about some of the spiritual gifts the Lord gives us. Please name 3 of them. Can you be grateful for these gifts?

A year.
The discussion we had reminded me of a time our RS president said she made a goal
to put God first. Make God number 1. After that lesson I took a dry eraser and wrote on the mirrors make God #1 all over the house. Recently I've felt strongly that we need to do scripture study every day. So we have been getting the kids up at 6:10 to read scriptures together on weekdays before Chris goes to work. It is going well. It makes the mornings smoother for sure. Plus the kids get started on their chores before school which makes a huge difference. I am realizing that I need to myself try to put God first in all things. I can be a better wife and mother.

A few thoughts on my Mother

My mom looked at my blog. She was always saying how I took my kids to do fun things. But I never thought it was very many things. I just take pictures when we do something fun. :) My mother passed away 2 days ago. It hurts to know I can't call her on the telephone. No one should loose their mother. I feel that we don't know our Heavenly Mother because we wouldn't want to be here on Earth without her. We must have forgotten her and the love for her because we needed to come get a body and be tested. I feel joy to know my mom is not hurting anymore, she is with her Mother, Sister and Father. She is meeting her mother-in-law and that makes my dad happy. She gets to have her daughter Kathleen, she has to be danging around in heaven singing with joy. A lot of my friends have had people close to them die this last few weeks. I decided that Heavenly Father has to be having a big missionary training for all of these new spirits into heaven. It is a miracle, it is just hard for us who are here still on earth waiting for our turn, missing out sweet ones who have gone on with out us. I love you mom I miss you already so much.

Ta da!
Fathers Day, Chris' birthday.

On Sunday Fathers day we celebrated Chris' birthday and Fathers day. We had the Bairs over for a yummy dinner. I think Chris had a good time. :0) Usually when I point a camera at Chris he does a silly face. This time I was far enough away he didn't really notice or care. I'm pretty happy I got him smiling. He sure is handsome.

Picnic at the park

Thursdays are dance day so we go back and forth a lot for taking our 4 girls to 3 different dance classes. So this Thursday we decided while Ruth was at dance we decided we'd run to the park and have a little picnic. Then after taking Audrey and Hailey and picking up Ruth we ran to a different park so she could play too. I love these days when we just do something simple and fun.

Silly Sam
You can see in this picture Sam's top gums are swollen he fell and broke the little tendon in between his front two teeth. It made him so angry for almost 2 weeks. In this picture he was finally eating well again and feeling much better.

Hailey has recently decided she loves to take pictures. So with our permission she has taken lots of funny photos. Here are a few.
I made this vinyl for my kitchen, I love it! I'll have to take pictures of the other vinyl I have made. It is so fun. I love love love it!
Easter Guns
We started out with a clue in one of Audrey's egg. It lead all of the kids on a scavenger hunt. All around the house we ran and ran. Until they got to the dryer and inside was hiding these fun Nerf guns. We had a blast, literally, shooting each other. The rules, no shooting anyone without a gun and no shooting in the face.

We got the kids Nerf guns instead of new clothes for Easter this year. They have had lots of fun with them. I got to have my first Nerf battle. Max's gun beats everyone's. He loves it! Sam loves his too. He holds it up and says, "piew piew," in a tiny baby voice. I'll have to get it on video.
Easter
I see all my kids together and then I think that is a lot of kids. I love my lots of kids. :)
Eggtails

I get hairstyles from a few blogs. One had this hair do she called it eggtails. I thought it was hilarious, so we decided to give it a try. I did an egg for each of the girls too. Audrey's is suppose to look like a nest. We did a nice dinner at the church with the Bair's. The kids were able to run and play in the gym it was great! Sunday we did a yummy dinner with Printy's. After dinner we did an easter egg hunt for the kids in the front and for the adults in the back yard. Matt and Sarah were sneaky and put money in the adults eggs. Good times were had by all.

Dance

Our girls are really enjoying their dance classes. We take them to Wasatch Arts Studio. Here are the photos with their costumes. I was really impressed with the photographer, she accidentally didn't do one shoot of Audrey, because Hailey looks just like her. So she talked to me on the phone until we got it sorted out. She was really nice and did a great job with the photos and retouching. I was impressed. I guess after working with the Bairs, the best photographers in the world in my opinion, I thought I'd be disappointed with anyone else.
