Here's a laugh!

I found these photos from St. Patrick's on my old camera today. I saw them and just laughed my head off. I LOVE my kids!

Lots of fun with family.

Here is a photo of the boys together and the girls together. The boys seem a bit out numbered. But they were really well behaved. I did loose Max one time, we got separated coming off the wagon ride, he followed the wrong crowd of people. But I found him pretty fast. The kids really had a great time.
Anyone care to sit on a pumpkin? Ruth thinks it's a good idea. We were all leaving and she had a hard time pulling herself from that pumpkin. It was pretty funny.

Barnyard Boo!

Here we are at Thanksgiving Point, in the farm for Barnyard Boo. It was festively decorated with spiders, ghosts, cats and pumpkins. There were lots of things for the children to go and do. We went on a wagon ride, got balloons, decorated cookies and got the kids and my face painted. It was lots of fun. The kids also got to spend time with their cousins aunts and Grandmother. I'm so glad my kids have opportunities to be this close to their family. Thanks Grammy for providing fun times for all of our family you're wonderful.

Balloons

We waited in line so the cute clown could make us balloons at thanksgiving point. Grammy was so nice to take us. Hailey was really excited to get a balloon she wouldn't get out of line for anything, even the temporary tatoo's and real bunnies close by.

Here's a rather fun & easy tag to try. Here's what you do. Go to your "my pictures" and pick the 4th folder, then the 4th photo and upload it. It's fun to see what you get. Here's mine.
It looks like this is a photo of Hailey and Kate in Holly's garage while we were working on a project. Most likely our kitchen cabinets. Chris was suppose to make them but Steve pretty much did all the work. Chris helped. Those cabinets sure make my life easier.

I tag anyone who wants to give it a try. Becky, Elaine, Maria, Sarah, and Melanie maybe! I just thought it would be fun to see what photos would come up.

New Sweaters and earrings.

Hailey was so excited to change her earrings for the first time. We got them pierced 2 or 3 months ago and haven't changed them until now. I made the new earrings something they needed to earn for keeping their room clean. Last week they earned them. :) Hailey loves the color blue like Cinderella so when I gave her blue earrings she was really excited. Audrey's ears were infected so we decided not to change hers for a couple of days. She was okay with that. She really didn't want the holes to close up so she would have to get them pierced again. Hailey also staged this whole earring photo shoot. She put on a blue shirt and pants, got my blue rings to match and put a blue blanket and 2 blue pillows on the chair she is sitting on. She also did her own hair just for these photos. Silly sweet girl.
These are Audrey and Hailey's new sweaters. They have been wearing them non stop since I pulled them out of the closet. I told them to wear them to school under their jackets so they could wear them in class if they wanted too. I think the colors are so fun. They really are snugly soft sweaters. :)

Carrots

Here's our bumper crop of carrots. :) I planted them at the end of the planting season when most of our plants were maturing and I had a space left from some other plant that died. I told Chris to go with the girls outside this weekend before it snowed and pick the carrots. They were really yummy. And straighter than last years little, quite deformed, carrots. One more fun thing from our garden.

School Points!

I've never bought Campbells products because I always buy the generic brand that is cheaper. But recently my oldest twins have decided that they really like spaghettio's. There is no generic brand of spaghettio's. So they have been taking them to lunch at school. Camille and Holly have told me how wonderful the points are for school. My sister in law Tamara's school lets the kids dress down (from their usual uniforms) one day a month if they bring in 5 points a month. So I decided I would just take the time to cut off the points of all my spaghettio's cans and give them to the school. I hope it helps. Is there anything else that I need to be collecting to help out my kids' school?

A Clean house!

My counter has been clean for a week. I've been trying really hard to keep up on certain chores in my home this last week. I've done 2 or 3 batches of dishes and laundry every day and I've kept the counter in my kitchen clean. It feels really good to have a space to prepare food. I've been doing lots of extra cooking since I have the clean counter. I made home made french fries, french bread and corn bread last week. We'll see if I can keep it up this week. I made a few new rules for myself that will help me be happy and keep up on things better. One of those rules is only babysitting once a week. I want to help and serve people by babysitting. But I was finding I was stressing out and not getting much done. I was babysitting all the time and not having the time I need with just my own kids and time to get house work done. So friends please still call me to babysit. I would love to. I just need some time to get things done as well. One other rule (well plan really) I have made for myself is a meal plan. My friend Holly and I have planned out meals for the whole month of October. So every day Holly comes over at 12:00 and we work together to make the dinner for that night. This way my dinner is ready and I just have to put it in the oven and finish vegetables and side dishes to go with it. So when Audrey and Hailey get home from school I can help them with their homework instead of making dinner at that time. :) Wish me luck.

I love the bowling shoes!!! They go great with her dress don't you think?

Bowling with kids!

The Elders Quorum in our ward planned an activity to go bowling. Chris went and discovered that no one showed up but him. So I told him to come back and get us and we would go bowling with him. So we went as a family. The kids had a blast. Max and Ruth did have a hard time waiting through everyone's turn for their turn. They didn't have fits or anything they were just a little eager to take their turn every 5 seconds.
