Well Thanksgiving weekend is coming to a close.

So it is Saturday night I'm going to get ready for bed any minute. But I haven't said what I'm grateful for in a few days and we didn't end up doing it around the dinner table Thanksgiving day. So I need to say something else. I think I'll just write a list of a few things I'm grateful for and finish out November. My kids and I are all sick now so we are planning on staying home from church tomorrow so we can all sneeze and cough together. Monday I have a doctors appointment and Max's last testing to get him into preschool, horray! So since those days seem to be a little busy I'll finish my list now.

1-I'm grateful when my kids listen to me, the first time. :) It always makes me really happy.

2-I'm grateful that Chris has been working so hard to keep me home with the children all of these years. I'm grateful that he has been finishing projects as fast as he can to help us get ready for our baby. He truly is a wonderful guy. I don't deserve him.

3-I'm grateful for modern technology, I can keep up with my college friends, and people I care about. Also if you can't get the cable to work for a BYU game the computer works just fine. Plus I have a million Christmas coloring pages at my finger tips to print out for my kids at a moments notice. :)

4-I'm grateful we have a dishwasher even if I don't feel like unloading and loading it.

5-I'm grateful that we can worship what we want. We have a meeting house close enough to walk. We have the opportunity to go to church every Sunday, to help us keep our spirits fed.

6-I'm grateful that the sealing power is upon the earth and my husband and I were able to be sealed in the temple.

I think that takes care of November. Happy December next week. When it will be less than 3 weeks away for me to have my baby. :)

I'm grateful for Health and home.

Sunday Ruth's nose started running during sacrament meeting. So I sent her home with Chris. Yesterday Max had a fever. Today Hailey woke up coughing. So I'm afraid we are in for it now. I am grateful however that none of my kids have been sick at all since we have moved. So July to November that is a pretty big healthy stint. I'm hoping they will all get over this cold and not get anything when the baby is here. I'm grateful for good health, most of the time. I'm also grateful for our home. We can hunker down here and all get better. How blessed are we to have such a big beautiful home. We can fit our family comfortably with lots of room to play. I'm so grateful Heavenly Father has blessed us with healthy strong bodies and a nice home.

Silly sappy movies. :)

I'm grateful for silly sappy movies. Last night I went to see New Moon. I thought it was great. I'm a fan of the books and this movie stayed really close to the book. There were only a few things that they skipped but did really well telling the story. I don't care if people make fun of me for liking the Twilight saga, I think it is fun to escape into a fairy tale land sometimes. It makes me happy.

Blogging

Apparently I'm not very grateful for blogging this month because I haven't been on every day. I'm just busy with lots of crazy stuff. Getting ready for a baby, shopping, and painting you know the usual. Well today I'll write 3 more things I'm grateful for.

1-I'm grateful for Heavenly Father and the true gospel on the earth. I don't know who I would be with out the gospel in my life. I am forever indebted to my parents for raising me to know the church. I have been trying hard to do scripture study with my kids each night. Even if we're sitting at the table and I read a few verses. They love it. We don't read any kid book of Mormon this is the real thing. They each get their Books out of our treasure chest. Each kid gets to read a verse. Some times we talk about what it means and other times we are in a hurry to get to bed on time. But it is still a step in the right direction. I have noticed a difference in the feel of our home since we have been better at doing it on a daily basis. The gospel truly makes me a very happy person.

2-I'm grateful for potatoes. I love potatoes. When I'm having a bad day, I can sit down with a baked potato and be utterly happy.

3-I'm grateful for indoor plumbing. Even if it has occasional leaks. If I were pregnant and had to run out to the outhouse 3 or 4 times a night to go to the bathroom. I probably wouldn't be very happy. I may be thinner from all of the running though. So I'm glad I have a bathroom close by and water I can use in the house for dish washing and clothes washing. We truly are spoiled in this day in age.

Three more things I'm grateful for.

I didn't get on the computer Saturday, or Sunday. So today I'll write three things I'm grateful for.

1-Chores. I'm grateful that my kids have jobs to do and when we all do them lots of things get done at once. I love knowing the dishwasher is empty and the laundry is folded. Now I just need to teach them how to make dinner.

2-Snow. I know it is awful to drive in, but it brings my kids so much joy. Saturday morning I was awakened by little voices shouting with delight. It is snowing, it is snowing. Audrey even volunteered to help clean out the closet so she would have the proper snow gear to go outside. Now the closet is organized and I'm really happy about that.

3-A new back door. Its not here yet. But Chris is planning on buying and installing new french doors on our house today. Thankfully Steve is bringing his work truck home to carry the doors. He'll also stay and help Chris install them. It is so wonderful that we have friends family and neighbors who are willing to help us with projects and things.

Christmas shopping is done!

Today I finished my Christmas shopping for my kids. We'll have a few little things to get for other people but my kids are all done. I even got Max and the baby matching suits. They are so cute. I can't wait for them to wear them. I've never had to buy matching boy clothes before. So that is what I'm grateful for today. No more stressing about my kids' Christmas. The baby can come and I'll be good.

Today I'm grateful for family.

I'm grateful for all of my little people well my little Bairs. Audrey has such spunk and likes help and she is such a good cleaner. Hailey is so good with children she will be such good babysitter and mother some day. Kate is always thinking of others around her and what would make them happy. Ruth sings and dances all day. She also says the funniest things, Chris and I are always in stitches at the things she says. Max is always happy. He is constantly running around with the biggest smile on his face. Some times it is a mischievous smile, but a smile none the less. Then the biggest Bair of all. Of course I'm so grateful for my husband. He works so hard so I can stay home. He works extra so we can have money for projects in our home. He picks up the slack when I drop the ball by making dinner and cleaning and taking care of the children. I'm afraid there is a lot of work coming up for him. I'll need to be taking care of the baby so he'll have to take care of the other 5, a little unfair. But I know Chris will do his best to take care of all of us. That is what the priesthood holder does right? He is such a good husband and father.

Also my loving family outside of this Riverton house the Bair's, Jensen's, and Printy's. I feel like I really need to figure out who can take care of my children when I have this baby. But I really need to just remember how many family members are willing and waiting to help us. I love you and thank you dear family.

I am thankfull for Kate!

Kate volunteered to put the dishes away today, she wanted to help her mommy. She said she knows it is hard for me to bend over with the baby in my tummy. One thing I have loved about Kate lately, is her willingness to listen. When I ask her to do her job, she stops what she's doing and she does her job. It is just a miracle in our home. If only she had more jobs to do so I would have less. What a great girl. Love you Kate.

Pretend it is Tuesday.

Today Tuesday (wink wink) I am grateful for two people. My cousin Bethany who keeps coming over to my house to help me paint. She has such a giving heart. Also I'm grateful for my sweet husband, who did the dishes, cleaned the counter, and made everyone dinner when I was trying to finish a project. I love that man. He is so good to me. Thanks Chris and Bethany.

A month of Giving Thanks.

So it is already the second week of November but two of my friends have decided they want to post what they are thankful for every day. So I decided I should do it too. It never hurts to be thankful. So today. I'm thankful, my doctor said he'll deliver me a week early. So I won't have to be in the hospital on Max and Ruth or Audrey and Hailey's birthdays. That makes me really happy!

Halloween Fun!

Happy Halloween!

Here are some fun shots of my kids before we went to ward parties and trick or treating. Audrey and Hailey are Ballerinas, Kate is Super Girl, Max a Pumpkin and Ruth is a witch. We had a great year. Now If I can me disciplined enough not to eat all of the candy that would be great. Enjoy.
