First day of school.

Needless to say they were super excited. Kate is in 1st grade and Audrey and Hailey are in 3rd. Max and Ruth will be starting 4year old preschool so I'll post pictures when they start. My life will be different driving them to school instead of them riding the bus. But I'm trying to get use to it. So far so good. I love those girls they make my heart sing. :)

Printy Family

Here are a few random photos from our Printy family photo shoot. When I say random I mean random. I just grabbed a few. We need to play with the photos before we will have our favorites. Chris posted on Facebook a funny one of us. He always picks the funniest one then prints it. I decided we need to make a funny wall at our house. Maybe in the basement. Just with random funny photos in frames. We all need to be able to laugh at ourselves right. :) I think one year we even sent out a funny family photo for Christmas. Good times. Good times.

Kaleb Wayne

One of my dear friends had a terrible thing happen to her family. Her son was attacked by a retired police dog, he was their pet. She was sure it was an accident, he probably thought that Kaleb was a toy, he was loosing his sight. Kaleb has been in the hospital for 2 months now and had had many surgeries. I just found out that there is a fundraiser for him, there was a news story on fox 13 yesterday updating his condition. Here is a paper on the ride. Anyone and everyone please feel free to come. It should be fun for the family. All of the proceeds go to the Waynes.

Shooting

Chris and I went on a triple date with our friends shooting. It was really fun. I had only shot a gun once and was a bit frightened. I managed to feel comfortable then have a great time trying over and over again to hit the target. Fun stuff. I love the picture of Chris with his headphones on his head, silly man. He is so handsome. Love you Chris.

Pretty Flowers

Grammy Bair was so nice she came out to my house and we went to a nursery together and got flowers she helped me put them all into pots. YEAH! I've never had flowers before it was really fun. Thanks mom. :)

Here is Kate and her teacher Mrs. Brown, after the kindergarten program.

One week left of school.

My kids have one week left of school. They are really excited. I'm excited too summer time is always fun time. However I am feeling a bit sad. I think I get myself too emotionally attached to things. I went to Kate's little Kindergarten end of school singing performance today. As I watched the children sing and dance (which was so adorable) I realized I didn't know any of her classmates names. I had not had an opportunity to help in her class like I have in Audrey and Hailey's classes in the past. When they were in kindergarten I could name every single child in both classes. I understand that I am at a different place in my life now than I was then. But it still makes me sad. Kate's teacher got emotional on the last song and explained to us that this is her last year teaching and she would miss the children terribly, that touched me. I did have fun times with Kate this year that I didn't have with the other girls. When Max and Ruth went to preschool this year each day I had an hour alone with Kate, we had nice Kate and Mommy time. One more thing to be sad about, when I got home I had received an email from Max and Ruth's preschool teacher. She is one of the teachers that is getting cut out of the budget next year. That makes me very sad since Max and Ruth were scheduled to be in her class next year for the 4 year old preschool. She has been most helpful with Max and his epilepsy. He only had one seizure the whole time in school, but she had to take care of him with a lot of odd behavior as we played with his medicine to find out what would work best. It is sad to see her go. It is sad to let go of another year.

My little Kate is done with Kindergarten all ready to be a big girl. My baby Cakes, How I wish I could snuggle that little baby one more time. But she's a big girl now. I'll just have to snuggle that little 6 year old.

My Audrey and Hailey can read and write and have been baptized. Third grade my two little babies are going to go into 3rd grade.

It has been a great year. They went to a good school and had good teachers. I'm pleased with their progress. One thing for me to let go of, but it is good for them to grow which I am so grateful for.

Camping

Last weekend we went on an adventure. My Greene cousins do a camp out every year and we got to go. We had a great time. The kids had lots of fun playing with their cousins. Here are some photos of Devils Garden in Grand Staircase-Escalante National Park.

Welcome to the world of food!

A few nights ago we were sitting at the dinner table. Samuel kept pulling on my plate and watching every bite of food go into my mouth. I just decided it was time, he'll be 6 months old this Friday. I can't believe my baby is getting so big.

Scrapbook Exchange

Here are a few layouts we did this last week for LeRoyne's exchange. Holly did the Birthday layout. It feels good to scrapbook again.

Kate's hair cut.

A month or so ago Paige, Kate's best friend got her hair cut. So I decided Kate could to. So I cut her hair. I decided it is just like my and my mom's hair. I cut my moms hair sometimes and Kate's is just the same, it curls in the same places. Here is my cutie.

Zions National Park

A few weeks ago one of our friends was able to go through the temple for the first time. She moved to St. George the same time we moved to Riverton. So she was going to the St. George temple. We decided it would be great for us to go and make a mini vacation out of it. We left Thursday night and drove down to Zions we slept at a hotel. Friday we met out friends the Larrabee's and went hiking the kids got to go on two hikes. Plus we got to go swimming in the hotel swimming pool. The baby did good too, I was sure he'd scream once I got him in the water. We have no photos of swimming because it was more important to have the kids and towels at the pool, not a camera.

Handsome Boys

I put the kids in all their blue Christmas outfits for the first time last Sunday. Before that Samuel was to small to fit into his. I did the girls hair cute so I decided we had to take photos. It is sometimes a rare occurrence when everyone is clean and looks good at once. Usually everyone is cleaned and dressed well on Sunday but sometimes we have just combed hair. That is what it is like getting everyone out the door, right? I had to take photos of the boys together. Sam was so cute in his little vest and tie. Max looks so big. He was just a little baby not too long ago. Of course Chris is always super handsome. I'm so blessed that he chose me to share his life with. Plus here we have evidence that we don't only live in girl land. There are 3 very handsome boys that live here too. :)
