Gardens are for kids!

Here is the biggest cucumber I have grown, not too big but it was yummy. Grammy always tells me that gardens are for kids. I have been so careful with my garden and worked so hard on it that I haven't wanted to let the kids get in it and chance them stepping on anything and breaking anything. I've been better this year than in years past. I've taught them how to water the plants with out putting the hose directly on the plant. I taught them how to walk with out stepping on the plants and to twist to pull off the vegetables and not the whole plant. So now they just run out and pick vegetables whenever I need them and they can enjoy eating them because they helped to pick and prepare them. It is so satisfying having a garden. Thanks for your help Audrey and Hailey.

My kids love the garden, they will even help weed it. But the best is when it is time to pick things they are all there wanting to help. They love to watch it grow.
It is so exciting, let them plant something next year and they will have a blast. Mine each have something they plant, it may not be in the right spot but it grew.

On the coupons, clip everything that you would use and then look at the grocery flyers and find stuff that is on sale and then use your coupon on top of that so double the savings. Then you pay almost nothing for the items and it is actually a lot cheaper then buying the cheap brand. Does that help?? It took me a while to figure it out but it does work. Let me know if you have questions. I think it is so fun and it is very addicting.
