No he can't sit up yet. I just propped him up so I could take a picture. He's so cute. I love that guy.

Layout exchange.

Here are a few layouts I've done recently. I decided that I should put dates on all of the pages I do so I can more easily keep track of them.

Zions National Park

A few weeks ago one of our friends was able to go through the temple for the first time. She moved to St. George the same time we moved to Riverton. So she was going to the St. George temple. We decided it would be great for us to go and make a mini vacation out of it. We left Thursday night and drove down to Zions we slept at a hotel. Friday we met out friends the Larrabee's and went hiking the kids got to go on two hikes. Plus we got to go swimming in the hotel swimming pool. The baby did good too, I was sure he'd scream once I got him in the water. We have no photos of swimming because it was more important to have the kids and towels at the pool, not a camera.

Handsome Boys

I put the kids in all their blue Christmas outfits for the first time last Sunday. Before that Samuel was to small to fit into his. I did the girls hair cute so I decided we had to take photos. It is sometimes a rare occurrence when everyone is clean and looks good at once. Usually everyone is cleaned and dressed well on Sunday but sometimes we have just combed hair. That is what it is like getting everyone out the door, right? I had to take photos of the boys together. Sam was so cute in his little vest and tie. Max looks so big. He was just a little baby not too long ago. Of course Chris is always super handsome. I'm so blessed that he chose me to share his life with. Plus here we have evidence that we don't only live in girl land. There are 3 very handsome boys that live here too. :)

Growing up too fast.

I did these fun tween hairstyles last Sunday. They turned out so cute. My girls are growing up so so fast. I miss them at little toddlers. Love ya girls. I found the hairstyle at: princesshairstyles.com I've been doing lots of hairstyles from here lately.

Everyday fun.

One day when the kids were off track we made robots. I video taped them playing but only took a few photos of Max with his helmet. We love card board boxes.

Last Monday Chris had the day off so we decided to go sledding. Thankfully Tamara had some sleds we could borrow, since we only have one. Everyone had such a blast. Max was happy to go down the hill with or without a sled. We brought hot chocolate and peanut butter sandwiches. We need to do more things like this with our kids.

Samuel

My friend Melanie made and sent these hats to Samuel, she also made this little baby cocoon. I'm afraid he may be a little too big for it. I'll put him into it anyway. She also made hand bound journals for Audrey and Hailey for their baptism. I'll take pictures of those later. But you'll be happy to know they have been writing in them every night. I think it is adorable. Now I just need to get them to remember to read their scriptures and pray every night. Thank you Mel.

Happy Birthday Kate, We love you.

Kate's birthday just happened to be the day before Audrey and Hailey were baptized February 5th. We were able to take her out to dinner which is always fun with 5 (now 6) kids. Also at the luncheon after the baptism we had a cake for her and had everyone sing to her. She even picked out her cake and #6 candle. Now I have a beautiful 6 year old. Happy Birthday Kate!

Audrey and Hailey's Baptism

Saturday February 6th Audrey and Hailey were able to be baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints. We got our house all ready, luncheon stuff ready and the day finally came. The program was sweet and simple, Audrey and Hailey picked their grandpas to give talks, Uncle Ben sang a beautiful song. The spirit was so strong. A lot of our family and friends were there to support the girls. What a wonderful family experience. Max keeps dreaming of getting baptized. Now all they need to do is get married in the temple and endure to the end, right? It sounds simpler than it is.

It still takes a lot to get him to smile and he has to be very full and happy but when he does he's adorable.

Baby blessing of Samuel

Saturday February 6th 2010, we blessed our beautiful baby boy. He did a really good job. No crying. I was impressed. We also baptized the twins (Audrey and Hailey) I'll post pictures of that soon.

Thanks to us watching Modern Marvels I made the yummiest omelet today for myself for lunch. Yum!

Finished Flooring. YEAH!!!

Here are photos of the finished floor. It is so nice to be able to walk around with no shoes on and not walk on nails or get slivers. It didn't last that long but it sure seemed like a long time. We had to make sure the kids wore shoes even with their pajamas on. Now that was a funny site. I'm glad it is done. We also put up a few photos before the baptism. It really feels like home now.
